AUSTIN, Texas — Dec. 18, 2018 — HCB Health, a leading U.S. healthcare advertising agency, is proud to announce that the nonprofit half Helen Foundation has appointed Nancy Beesley, HCB Health Partner and Chief Commercial Officer, to its board of directors. The half Helen Foundation provides vision, hearing and scoliosis screenings to low-income elementary school children, connects their families with medical care, and advocates for improvements in screening practices.
“With over 10 years working in ophthalmology and audiology, and a daughter with severe scoliosis,” says Beesley, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to combine my personal and professional passions working with the half Helen Foundation. Prevention and early detection can mean everything for a child’s future” she adds.
“We already have a great working relationship,” says Chelsea Elliott, founder and Executive Director of the half Helen Foundation. “HCB Health has supported our organization with pro bono design and marketing since our inception, and with Nancy on the board, she can really boost the half Helen Foundation’s influence in the corporate world.”
